The Princess is Born

Flapping of feathers was sounded in the quite morning in the pridelands. King Lavi was off doing his daily rounds of checking the borders of the land for any enemies. Tyke the messanger bird swooped inront of the bold king and huffed," Sire! Sire! Come quicky, Queen Rina is about to have the child!" Lavi was taken aback," Rina... RINA IM COMMING!" Tyke chuckled at this and followed the Lavi back to Pride Rock. The lionesses helped Rina as she was in pain but it was soon over. Taiky sat in the corner with a disgusted look on his face and sighed. He was the first born and the oldest. He glanced over to see that he now had a baby sister. Lavi came bursting into the scene as the sun slowly rose to the sky. Rina smiled to him and glanced down," Say hello to the new born princess.." The little ball of fluff looked over to see her strong dad standing over her. She smiled and waved her paws at him. Lavi smiled weakly and went to lie down beside his wife. Soon after they thought about it, Sage was her name. Sage glanced up to the morning sky, dazed by its beauty. Taiky went to sit by them at looked down to the newly born Sage. A hidden smile lurked upon him but remains to be seen.

Riftka came up the pride rock, Lavi's baboon friend. Rift was her nickname. She smiled seeing Sage as she mewed sildently," She seems to be a lively one." Rina smiled," Indeed." Lavi nodded and nodded to Rift, she slowly picked up Sage and took her to the edge of the pride rock. All the african animals waited to see the new ruler of their kingdom. Ritka held her up slowly as they all made a roar in the air. Sage looked at all of them and smiled swiping her paws. Riftka smiled and let the wind blow slowly through her fur. Lavi and Rina knew Sage will be a great queen, someday...
